Userlike with extended data protection mode

We use Userlike (hereinafter: “Userlike”) to process user inquiries via our support channels or via live chat systems. The provider is Userlike UG (limited liability), Probsteigasse 44 – 46, 50670 Cologne.

Messages that you send to us can be saved in the Userlike ticket system or answered by our employees in the live chat. Order processing

We have concluded a contract for order processing with Userlike. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that Userlike only processes the personal data of our website visitors in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Processing data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent that it is necessary for the establishment, content or change of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which the processing of data is permitted to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. We only collect, process and use personal data about the use of our websites (usage data) to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.

The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data processing

We use, among other things, online conference tools to communicate with our customers. The specific tools we use are listed below. If you communicate with us via video or audio conference via the Internet, your personal data will be used collected and processed by us and the provider of the respective conference tool.

The conference tools collect all the data that you provide/use to use the tools (email address and/or your telephone number). The conference tools also process the duration of the conference, start and end (time) of participation in the conference, number of participants and other “contextual information” related to the communication process (metadata).

Furthermore, the provider of the tool processes all technical data that is required to process online communication. This includes in particular IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client Version, camera type, microphone or speaker as well as the type of connection.

If content is exchanged, uploaded or made available in any other way within the tool, it will also be stored on the tool provider's servers. Please note that we do not have complete influence on the data processing operations of the tools used. Our options depend largely on the corporate policy of the respective provider. Purpose and legal basis

Handling applicant data

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, post or via the online application form). Below we will inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your data as part of the application process personal data collected. We assure that the collection, processing and use of your data will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions and that your data will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Scope and purpose of data collection

Data retention period

If we cannot make you a job offer, you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to process the data you have transmitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR ) to be kept by us for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. The storage serves in particular for evidentiary purposes in the event of a legal dispute. Providing consent is voluntary and has no connection to the ongoing application process. The person concerned can revoke your consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool unless there are legal reasons for retention.

The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
